Officially Employed!

Four days after arriving in Denver I was practically handed a job at a little community coffee shop in my neighborhood, just a few blocks from my house. The flexible hours of a barista is what I was really craving for this transition-time. I'm also working about 8 hours each week with my church, TNL. The chances to be working within my physical community as well as my church community are exactly what I was desiring, yet couldn't have made work if I tried! I feel very blessed and excited for this next season.

Take a look at the Wash Perk website when you have a chance - its a fun place!

  1. This looks great Jennie. I am happy for you! The coffee shop looks like a very cozy place, and I am tempted by the 2 USD offer of bottomless coffee :)

  3. Okay, me again.. I know.. the shoe thing is a little gross huh? Am I the only one that struggled with flushing the toilet upon returning? And seriously- I think I should mail my old shoes back over for some one. And they'r SICK!

Anyway- I'm SUPER PSYCHED about SANTA FE! Let's make it happen! Jacob is incredibly supportive and hopefully could come too- but it may just be me. The only glitch will be if my friend's wedding is around that time. Did you meet Michelle??? She's getting married this summer so I'll keep you updated.
For the time being Operation Santa Fe/Pampering is ON!
